The EW3 Winding Machine is a rim-drive heavy duty winding/measuring machine. This is the new technology replacement for our most popular W1 machine.
Using modern technology 3 phase brake motor with VSD control.
This unit is capable of handling drums/reels up to 450kg (when fully loaded). Drums up to 900mm diameter and 750mm wide.
The meter-head will handle cable from just a few millimetres to maximum 32mm. Mounted on a height adjustable, swivel point with lateral control.
Drive is provided by a rubber coated roller resting on the rim of the drum to be loaded.
The EW3 is provided with wheels for easy movement and location
The supplied attachment drum has a rubber coated rim for quiet operation.
Flame-Red powder coated finish and black base frame.
Mechanical Features;
A mechanical counter is fitted. ( max 9999.9m)
Roll on roll off loading of cable drums eliminates lifting. Adjustable 4 roller system will allow for slightly damaged drums. This winder is designed to run parallel to cable racking. A coil winding and small reel attachment winding drum is supplied with this machine.
